  1. From watching this video I learnt that we have so much than we think we do, we're educated and have technology. All they have is well... Not much at all, it made me realize our world is actually really cruel & dangerous. So much out there we don't know about.

  3. From watching this video I learnt that many people in the world do not live ordinary lives. With no food nor money, to living on the sidewalk. I found it devastating that some children of Bangladesh live a scary life in holes and train stations compared to us in wooden or brick homes.
I am interested to learn more about what the little girl- whom lives in a hole - eats to survive in the hole. Because even ordinary people can't survive with three weeks without food.
I found it disturbing that parents call their own children mentally retarded

  4. From watching this video I have learnt that kids my age and younger are living worst lives then anyone ever would from living in NZ. The most interesting thing is that kids younger then me or maybe older are working to earn money and survive. The most disturbing thing is that people get beaten by their mother and live in the train station where people ignore them

  6. From watching this video, I learnt that people all over the world are suffering even in places that we don't know due to poverty and starvation and children younger than I am have to go to work early in the morning just to provide their family with food. I also learnt that the things we take for granted every day like being able to live with clean water and nourishing food, other children would fight for and work hard every day for. I think we should all learn to appreciate the little things in life.

    1. i agree with this we do tend to take things so simple such as food for granted and we should learn to appreciate it a bit more.

From watching this video I learnt that some children in Bangladesh have to work HOURS to help keep their family fed, an the most disturbing part of this video was the handicapped boy who was 5 and weighed less than one brick. It made me realise how privileged we are to be iving in such a clean country and somewhere to live and eat

  8. I found this video very sad because 157.4 million people live in Bangladesh and around 4 million people live in New Zealand and New Zealand is much bigger. How can this happen?! and that they would cut their kids legs off just so they could more money!

  9. The video of Lucy Lawless going to bangladesh really impacted me because it is so sad but is definitely true even tho we are in the 21st centenary. These kids in bangladesh deserve more than what they have.It also made me realise that we take little things for granted like brushing our teeth and having food on our table and that New Zealand is a rich country unlike the third world countries .

  12. From watching this video, I learnt to not take advantage of what I have and think of what others in the world need. Like there are some people in the world who don’t have anything. They have to work as a child because their families couldn’t afford what they need. We all take advantage of what we have. The most interesting thing about this video is when I saw what the children did for there jobs and how they coped with it.some of the jobs that they did was carrying bricks on their head. The most disturbing thing I saw was Lucy Lawless’s sponsor’s brother. It was disturbing to see such a deformed child. I am interested to learn about how many children are starving in Bangladesh . I found this video very helpful because It help me to realise what we take for advantage and what others don’t get that we do.

  13. From watching this video, I learn't that the difference between life in NZ and life in Bangladesh is so big that its like another world. In NZ mentally unstable people are extremely well looked after but over in Bangladesh they had to pay $400 (which is a huge amount for a poor family) to get into the CRB (child rehabilitation project).

  14. The most disturbing/sad thing was that poor helpless 5 year old boy which was undernourished and mentally retarded.

I also found this video sad and depressing and made me reflect on my own life and how lucky I am

I'm interested to learn more about how they survive and their daily routine. I found this video emotional because of all the day-to-day struggles they go through.
