Well this is a tricky one. On the one hand, I see the need to change the flag because it is rather outdated and does not fairly represent the many cultures of New Zealand. We're a very diverse country today - should our flag not represent that? On the other hand, many people died for the current flag - should we not respect that and keep the flag as is?
